Callaway OptiFit

Our OptiFit Fitting System gives your fitting professional an unparalleled array of fitting clubs and virtually eliminates the guesswork out of being fit for your new Callaway Golf clubs. OptiFit Clubs Replicate The Look, Feel and Performance of Production Clubs. Callaway Golf engineers have designed OptiFit Fitting System clubs to make them indistinguishable from the actual driver or iron a consumer will put in play. The swing weight and center of gravity location are basically identical to the finished production club with no discernible difference in terms of playability, feel and performance. Choosing Your Ideal Clubhead and Shaft Combination has Never Been Easier. There are now 15 FT-5 Driver clubheads, six Big Bertha 460 Driver clubheads and three X460 Driver clubheads to go along with 29 shaft options from the most-respected and most sought-after shaft manufacturers in the marketplace, including Aldila®, Fujikura®, Graphite Design™, Grafalloy®, UST® and Mitsubishi Rayon. That means you have 690 total driver configurations to choose from in drivers. Each shaft may be interchanged with any club head so you will have no doubt as to how a particular shaft and head will perform for your unique swing. In addition, there are 24 irons heads and 29 shafts for a total of 696 iron configurations. TaylorMade SelectFit System

Originally developed by TaylorMade's R&D department for rapidly attaching driver and iron heads to demo shafts, the new TaylorMade SelectFit System offers golfers a custom-fitting experience with a broader array of golf club options to ensure the best fit for your swing. With the new fitting cart stocked with dozens of TaylorMade club heads of differing characteristics and dozens of shafts of differing make, flex, kickpoint and length, the number of complete club possibilities is more than 186 driver combinations and more than 258 iron possibilities - 200 more than the industry standard.

Junior Golf Clinics

PGA Professional, Frank Carman, will be conducting Junior Golf
Camps at Wheat Road Golf. There will be two one-week juniors
Camps offered. The camps will run Monday through Friday. The camps are being
Offered for two age groups: 10 and under, and 11 and over. The ten and
Under group will meet from 9:00--10:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday with a
Tournament on Friday. The 11 and over group will meet from 10:00 a.m.--12:00
P.M. Monday through Thursday with a tournament on Friday. At the conclusion
Of each tournament there will be an awards presentation, and hot dogs and soda
Will be served. If your junior golfer does not have clubs, junior golf
Equipment is available at a reasonable price in the Wheat Road Golf Pro Shop.
These are clubs that are specifically designed for juniors and are available
In different sizes. The cost of the camp for the 10 and under age group is
$80.00. The cost of the camp for the 11 and over age group is $100.00. The
Camps will be held the following dates:

Camp #1 10 and under Monday, July 7th---Friday, July 11th 9:00--10:00a.m.
Camp #1 11 and over Monday, July 7th---Friday, July 11th 10:00--12:00p.m.
Camp #2 10 and under Monday, August 18th--Friday, August 22th 9:00-10:00a.m.
Camp #2 11 and over Monday, August 18th--Friday, August 22th 10:00--12:00p.m
Note: On Friday Tournament Day Both Age Groups Start At 9:00 AM
Classes will be limited to the first 20 juniors, so please register early.
