PING metal woods are among the highest performing in golf.
Our engineers achieve more distance and control through several
advanced innovations.
For maximum distance, the clubs are designed with a nearly parallel
top and sole. This minimizes distortion at impact, transferring
more energy to the golf ball for increased distance. The variable-thickness
face positions more mass in a central impact area to optimize performance.
This patented technology, first introduced on the original TiSI
Driver, is found in all PING metal woods.
For maximum forgiveness on heel or toe shots, an elliptical
backweight is positioned in line with the impact point to stabilize
the clubhead during impact. This gives PING metal woods a high moment
of inertia for stability at impact and also allows us to offer them
in a wide range of swingweights.
The thermoplastic hosel allows club fitters to match a driver
or fairway wood to any golfer's swing with different lie angles,
helping them correct hooks and slices to achieve the best possible
ball flight.
