Challenging convention has been a tradition at PING since Karsten Solheim pioneered heel-toe balance in 1959. The Specify Series continues that heritage as it offers golfers a putter that is custom fit for look, feel and weight.
You choose the hosel. You choose the back design. You choose the weight. You specify one of the 36 combinations that will help you putt your best. The four hosel designs are the tour-proven Anser Design, The Flare Tip, The Flat Top and the face-balanced Long Neck hosel. Each is designed to match your stroke type and is made from 17-4 high-quality stainless steel.

Shapes for the back design include proven designs like the Anser Back, Zing Back and Ally Back. All feature perimeter weighting with a high moment of inertia and low center of gravity for accuracy and consistency.

Next are the three head weights, chosen based on feel and personal preference. Choose from light, medium and heavy.

Of course, a custom fitting with the Specify also includes the complete fitting process found with every PING putter, including putter length, color code (lie angle), loft and grip.

The face and back of the specify putters is joined by two stainless steel, cadmium-plated screws that seat into the back. The back is made from a polymer combined with a heavy tungsten powder. A thin layer of very high bond adhesive permanently bonds the face and back, enhancing feel.

The Specify Series introduces Optigraphic Effect, the visual contrast of a stainless steel top line and dark flange. The color contrast increases your ability to align the putter to the target, which translates to optical comfort and confidence over the ball.
